Markets in Milan Part 2/2 – Oow LEKKER!

Cover pic

Lekker Market is a one-time indoor market with more than fifty exhibitors from vintage crafts, zines to gastronomy. There are art exhibitions, DJ-sets, workshops for kids and much more. The word ‘lekker’ is from Dutch, meaning cool/awesome. And man, was it a cool market! I wish they could make this a bi-weekly/monthly event! There were so many things that I would like to buy (but I have no money). I saw this pair of uber cool vintage Dior sunglasses that was for EUR70…

Anyway, I think images speak louder than words so here are some of the many pictures that I took at the fair.

Packaging matters! What’s so special about this paper bag for piadina (thin Italian flatbread)? There’s an extra pocket for napkin. So thoughtful!

This man selling old stamps doesn’t seem to be impressed to have his photo taken LOL

What I got: clip-on earrings from Giulia’s booth. Zine about ice-cream (gift from Pasquale). Free postcard from the gift-wrap stand.

In summary, I had loads of fun at Lekker and I really wish they could have something like this more often!
