Hawaii

Next month I’m going to Hawaii for the first time in my life! Southern island isn’t really my go-to vacation spot but now that it’s booked I’m trying to psych myself up.

I’ve been researching lately and came across many, many food I definitely want to try, here is a short list to get myself excited :)

1. Soufflé pancake from Cream pot

They’re famous for their French style soufflé pancakes, I hope there isn’t a huge lineup by the Japanese tourists when I go!

2. Garlic shrimp from Macky’s Kahuku Sweet Shrimp

Hawaiians eat lots of rice, and they enjoy eating lunch plates from many food joints. Garlic shrimp is a signature ‘touristy’ Hawaiian food so it’s a must-try for beginners like myself!

3. Acai Bowl from Blue Hawaiian Style

It’s no secret that acai is a super fruit with lots of health benefits. Acai bowl usually consists of acai smoothie (-ish; its actually a lot thicker than smoothie) topped with granola and assorted fruits. Would be perfect breakfast :)

Ok now I am officially excited to go to Hawaii – to EAT!
